Our History.
Why SevenTwenty?
The company was inspired by the philosophy of Engineering and Re-Engineering towards localizing manufacturing.
The bigger aim is to provide home grown solutions to African needs and take the African Engineering story to the world.
How it started.
With the massive increase in building and construction towards real estate development, the company decided to focus on a small niche of producing curation rods and their accessories with its first products being wall brackets( named juakali) which was made of steel with powder coating technology.
The Production and Market
The products reception in Gikomba market and several hardwares within Nairobi and Kiambu regions was impressive and overwhelming and required more production.
The company invested in power presses which improved productivity from 100-1000 brackets a day.
Later, with efficiency in place production grew to 5000 a day and more products were introduced including caps, rings, and finials. Later in 2022 paint products came onboard.
